Everything about Dimitris P Kraniotis totally explained

Dimitris P. Kraniotis (Greek Δημήτρης Π. Κρανιώτης) is a Greek poet. Born in 1966 in Stomio - Larissa, a coastal town in central Greece.

Biography

By his own account Kraniotis has studied at the Medical School in Thessaloniki and lives and works as a medical doctor in Larissa, Greece, a town with about 125.000 inhabitants. By his own account he's vice-president of the local writers' society, member of the board of two local medical societies, and member of various amateur poets' societies.

Poetry

Kraniotis has authored four volumes of poetry:
  • Traces: Poems 1981-1984 (gr. Ίχνη): 1985, Cosmos Press, Stomio (Larissa) . Greek poetry
  • Clay Faces: Poems 1985-1989 (gr. Πήλινα Πρόσωπα): 1992, Kostas Karampelas, Stomio (Larissa). Greek poetry
  • Dunes (gr. Θίνες): 2007, Orient Occident, Bucharest. ISBN 978-973-8430-44-0

    Kraniotis has received various awards. Most are from amateur organisations, self-promotion web sites and non-literary local organisations. Kraniotis is member of several of these awarding societies.
